Roma and Bike Packing Video

Hello Everyone, well we made it to Roma, midday 2 days ago, to be welcomed to our famous Seattle weather. We were hoping for better, but what the hell, we're in Roma. The place we're staying in is very close to "Campo de Fiori" open street market. Our apartment has a beautiful wood ceiling that Devon and I have been staring at for hours, in our jet lagged gin induced stooper, attempting to stay awake so that we can fall asleep to our new hours.

The wonderful ceilings.

Roma back to normal.

We're here for four nights and leave on the fifth to Palestrina. Our original plans changed, the place we were staying heard we were coming and cancelled on us. Not really, but cancelled none the less. So with a quick change of plans, a different town,  and a bit of rerouting we're good to go.

Last night we went out with my cousin Joann and her husband Don, as well as our Roman friends Fabrizio and Emanuela for a "molto bene" Roman dinner.

Don't worry my hand is on the selfie stick.

Bicycle Packing - There are a number of people that have asked about our bicycles and getting them to Italy. So for those who have not seen this short video, from our first blog to Italy, have as look. The first attempt took three hours of packing and repacking. We now have it down, but to be honest, we have toview this video every time we pack.

On Tuesday we start our ride. The below map will then begin to show our daily rides. We are looking forward to making some fun videos and sharing our tour with you. We hope you will enjoy.

    1. Hello Dan, your right. It takes. About 1 1/2hrs to put each bike back together. In reality it takes about the same time to pack them when you figure all the time, not just the packing.

    1. Thanks, we have to review every time we pack so we can remember how it's done.
